EMPLOYEE TITLE – Business Development Representative (BDR)

Responsibilities include:

As a BDR, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads for our sales team. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, and you will play a critical role in building relationships and generating the sales pipeline.

We are a metrics-driven organisation and the ability to understand and measure yourself with appropriate performance tools is a requirement of the role.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and qualify new leads in specified verticals through a variety of
    channels ensuring only well qualified leads reach the sales team.
  • Develop and execute personalised outreach strategies to connect with
    potential customers.
  • Conduct initial qualification calls to assess the needs and interests of potential
    customers.
  • Build relationships with potential customers and nurture them through the
    sales cycle.
  • Provide valuable information and insights to potential customers to help them understand our solutions.
  • Track and measure your performance against key metrics, such as lead
    generation, qualification rates, sales pipeline conversion and, critically,
    achieving booked meetings for the sales team.
  • While the role is predominantly in outbound demand generation, it is expected that you will contribute to all aspects of sales lead generation including inbound, customer retention, renewals etc. Working collaboratively with our
    marketing team is essential.
  • Be proactive in reporting bottlenecks or issues that may hinder or delay
    Demand Generation.
Skills and attributes:
  • Proven track record of success in lead generation and sales.
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, ideally Hubspot.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft productivity suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
Compensation:

Package equating to industry benchmarked salary, including:

  • Base salary.
  • Performance linked payment based on meetings booked with fully qualified prospects.
  • Annual bonus (calendar year end) up to 10% of package, based on metrics to be agreed with your line manager.
Other:
  • Hybrid role, remote and office by agreement with your line manager.
  • Participation in future OTE (share options scheme).
  • 3-month probation period.
